You'll notice many differences between this site and our old one:
- Our new website is mobile-friendly and easy to use on any device.
- You can use a drop-down in the search bar at the top of every page to choose to search the catalogue, website, FAQs, or events.
- When you search the catalogue, the "smart search" algorithm makes it just like searching the web - it intuitively helps you find what you're looking for, making your searches quick and rewarding.
- New landing pages under "Discover" bring together information on programs, collections and services based on your interests.
- An Off the Shelf blogroll featuring book reviews, recommended reads, author interviews and other goodies from TBPL staff and the community. Find it under Discover in the main menu!
- A Site Explorer feature that lets you filter articles by audience, topic, tag and more. Find it under Discover in the main menu.
New, Integrated Catalogue and Events listings.
This site includes an online catalogue designed with our users in mind, based on how people use the Internet for searching, shopping and social media. Its new "smart search" function feels a little like online shopping and lets you find exactly what you're looking for, quickly and easily. It also lets you share your expertise with other Library users by rating and reviewing catalogue items and creating reading lists you can make public or keep private for your own use.

Get started with our new Online Catalogue by creating your user account. You can place holds and begin to explore new interactive features.

- Set up custom shelves to keep track of your reading
- Follow other users, including TBPL staff!
- Click the blue Login/ My TBPL bar in the top right corner to create your new user account. Learn more here.

Browse and register for upcoming events through the new Event Calendar.
- Click "What's On" in the main menu and select your area of interest.
