Book Club in a Bag

Book clubs offer a great opportunity for friends and book lovers to gather (whether virtually or in person) to catch up and discuss a good book. There’s only two problems with this activity and they seem to come up at every meeting: what book should the group read next and how do you find enough copies for everyone?

TBPL is here to help with our Book Club in a Bag service.

Each bag contains ten copies of one title, discussion questions, author information and reviews, for use by book clubs.

TBPL has over 250 books to choose from, so there is sure to be something for every club!

Get started browsing our Book Club in a Bag options below.  You can place your selection on hold in our online catalogue using your Library Card number and PIN. When placing your hold, choose which of our four TBPL branches you'd like to pick up your bag from. The bag can also be returned to any TBPL branch - just be sure that all ten books are coming back!

Book Club in a Bag selections have a loan period of 8 weeks and holds are on a first come, first served basis. Charges will be given for any lost or damaged items, and bags cannot be renewed.

For assistance, please call Mary J.L. Black Library at 807-345-8275 ext. 7300 or email bookclub@tbpl.ca.
