Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies is designed to help children in grades 1-3 enhance their reading skills and build confidence. This free weekly program pairs children with a reading buddy to read stories and play literacy-based games in a fun and supportive environment.

The next session of Reading Buddies will be taking place every Tuesday from September 24 - November 12.
Program Details:
- Dates: Every Tuesday from September 24 - November 12
- Location: Waverley Resource Library Auditorium
- Session Times: 5:30pm - 6:30pm and 6:30pm - 7:30pm
How It Works: Participants will be partnered with a dedicated reading buddy each week. While volunteers are not there to teach reading, they provide support to build upon the skills your child is already learning in school.
Registration: Spaces are limited, and participants must register for one of the two sessions. Ensure your child doesn’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to become a more confident reader!
