Longlegs is a thriller/horror movie directed and written by Osgood Perkins about an FBI agent who is looking to find the culprit of the deaths of multiple families in Oregon. FBI Agent Lee Harker then discovers connections to the serial killer and must put an end to his actions before he hurts another victim.
This movie was recommended by many people on the internet because of its bizarre and eerie scenes. It is rated 14A so I think that if you get scared easily, this movie might not be for you. The moment I finished the movie, I couldn't stop talking about it. I, personally, love horror movies and this movie is one of the few that actually creeped me out. But at the same time, even though some scenes and some of the characters really creeped me out, the plot of the movie didn't really make sense to me. I think it was only hyped up on the internet because of how intimidating it looks. In reality, the plot was really hard to understand. We get little to no information about the killer and the main character. I kept talking about the movie because I had so many questions! It felt like there was a part in the plotline that's just blank and empty.
Anyway, I think that this movie was just overhyped on the internet because of how "scary" the scenes looked. I hope we get a 2nd movie though because I can understand some of the plot but the problem is that there are huge gaps of lore that felt like it got skipped.
