YOUth Review: Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is a sci-fi novel. It is set in a dystopian world. This novel takes place in a place where books are banned. In this story, instead of the firemen putting out fires they are the ones that start them. In this book Montag is a fireman but his view on books changes after he meets a girl named Clarisse McClellan who is Montag's neighbour. Montag goes from someone who burns books to someone who is independent.

Personally, I liked this book quite a bit more than I initially thought I would. This is an excellent book. I would recommend it to people, especially if they enjoy sci-fi books and novels. I think that everyone should read this at least once in their lifetime. I really like how Ray Bradbury portrayed the characters in this book. I also really like the character development of Montag: how at the beginning of the story he is a fireman who burns books to someone who changes his mind on them and becomes independent. If you are looking for a book to read that is not too long or too short I think this book is great.
